Connectivity
The enclosed surf stick allows you to go online with the robot system without having to integrate it into your company network. This means that system and process data can be regularly transferred to the horstCOSMOS IoT platform and viewed there. In addition, our service technicians can access your robot system directly via TeamViewer when servicing is required.
Using the surfstick does not incur any additional costs for you. It is up to you whether you want to use the surfstick permanently, only for servicing or not at all. The robot system can also be operated normally without using the surfstick.
Installation
The surfstick is preconfigured and already equipped with a SIM card. It can therefore be put into operation within a few minutes. The surfstick is simply plugged into one of the two free USB ports on the back of CONTROL.
About three minutes after switching on CONTROL, the surfstick is available and connected to the mobile Internet. To ensure the best possible connection, the surfstick should not be covered or obstructed.

Connection issues
If the USB surf stick does not connect automatically, press Connect. If problems persist, unplug and plug the stick back in.
